Christmas at the Cratchits. A Victorian night full of parlor games, period dress and Christmas delights! For those who are thinking I stole a picture of two from another blog of note, I did! A few of my favorite parts; hearing a Christmas Carol read by a very-well-suited-to-the-job lady, hearing British accents all night, the carols (I'm still quite certain they were elves, though people tried to convince me otherwise. Just look at the hats!) and seeing Ebenezer Scrooge himself. :) He was very in character. I hate to sound like a rerun of the Renaissance fair, but I got up the courage to ask him for a picture. He didn't kiss me, but I did get a "Bah Humbug" in the bargain. ;) He told me he wouldn't smile, and he kept his word. I guess you can always count on Scrooge to be Scrooge. All in all it was a good night. A Merry Christmas to all and to all a "Bah Humbug"!

You mean to tell me they weren't elves? I agree...the hats speak otherwise. ;) Great pictures and commentary, Shelly!
Yay! You thought they were elves too! One of them heard me comment that the elves were coming and adamantly objected.
