The next day was NASA. Some of my friends went early with me to learn more, but some just came later for our red carpet tour. We enjoyed the rocket garden, the museum for early space exploration, the art gallery, a robot exibit building and touching a meteor AND a moon rock! The globe of constellations was a hit, it was very fun to roll the ball around.
On the tour we got to see the tallest one story building in the world, the shuttle runway, the huge crawler, dolphins, an alligator and more.
Interestingly enough, the globe sculpture and palm trees made me miss Providence.

S- What a wonderful gift that Sr trip was! To have seen those "landmarks" with you HS friends will certainly be great memories!. I'm tickled that the palm trees are in your head already.. your gramma has a buddy!:).. It's a special atmosphere of "new, and free"?
It WAS a special trip that I will remember the rest of my life. Yes, new and free is attractive, but I think some of it is the promise of adventure and seeing new things at Providence that has got me so excited too, that and how nice everyone was to me!
