Family travels - day 2
Our second day covered an unusual stop; the Corning Glass Museum. I loved it, I think a lot of us forget how much glass is used for. The exhibits were great and full of exquisite pieces. I loved the glass through time exhibit, pieces of glass from ancient Egypt to Roman times and beyond! There was some hands on stuff. In one of the above photos, Andrew is using two glass lenses to make a telescope. The demonstrations were fantastic too, the guy who blew the glass was very talented. He was pretty intense when he worked, you have to be, glass hardens fast. I would highly recommend the museum.
