What an amazing night! I will never forget it, I'm sure! Just seeing John Williams in person was so neat! Well, we arrived early at the Hollywood Bowl so we'd get out sooner, due to the insane California parking pictured right above. We ate in the picnic area and then went to our seats. There were lightsabers for sale and a lot of us bought them (including me :) and they really enhanced the experience! At first we messed around with them until the concert started. He played a lot of Harry Potter, then things like Casablanca and superman and a general tribute to the movies. Then he left! We all clapped but were wondering where our star wars was! Then he came back out and we all cheered and screamed and he played the Star Wars main title, (note the lightsabers coming out), went out, we cheered, he came back in and played ET then repeated this and played the empire theme - the stage turned red, as did many of the lightsabers in the audience. :) No Indy though, but he had us going for awhile. It was a great evening! I had sooo much fun!
