Mountain Retreat

All Campus Retreat is a Providence tradition of which I now have the privelage to have participated in. We went up Friday afternoon and left Saturday night. Inbetween we listened to three talks by Bill Godfrey on PCC's new motto "In Christ all things New". There were also fun team games including making an ice cream sundae on someone's forehead from standing on a chair, making posters, writing promotional skits and knowing random facts about fellow classmates. During freetime we played ultimate frizbee, went stargazing and ate their camp meals. I saw a shooting star and my first live raccoon.

Shelli- We are so excited and thankful when we read your blogs and weekly updates that things are going so well for you. Gramps thinks you are having too much fun though! :) Course he was a husband and father of 2 when he started college so his "fun" times weren't many! We always enjoy your pictures, and appreciate that you title them.. i.e. "eating ice cream off someone's head"..who would have figured that out???:) When is the play performance? Is it public or for the student body?
Keep up the good work, and we'll keep up the prayers! Love Gram & Gramps

That raccoon will come back to haunt you; destroy your homework, eat a pie you've made, something like that. A word of wisdom: No coon is a good coon. Even the cute ones.

Nathan - thanks for the words of wisdom - I will remember and keep my pies under lock and key :)

Gram - The play will be on the 21st of November, it is open to the public, so if you were to be here... :) So glad you like my updates - I'll think about having less fun for Grandpa's sake... thought over, sorry but no :)
